Science Discovery

The Science Discovery link connects to the Science Discovery Tool. The purpose of the Science Discovery Tool is to enable our customers to find and access our science activities and associated products and information. The design and evolution of the tool should address internal and external customer requirements and will be modified to accommodate evolving requirements and to utilize emerging Bureau assets (e.g.: GMIS or subsequent generation management information systems, publication repository(ies), product/data sources, The National Map, etc). In addition to reviewing the Phase 1 functionality of the tool, please provide feedback concerning the recommended evolution of the tool with respect to our external and internal current and future requirements.

<<NOTE>> Please forward your comments to your Chief Scientist for inclusion in the Science Center’s consolidated response. All comments are due by Nov 16, 2009.
